Ribble Valley Inns are currently situated in rural/semi-rural locations. Our sites have character and that's something that we aim for. All sites ideally will have open fires in the winter and a large 'modern' external drinking area/terrace to capitalise on summer trade. A minimum of 120 covers are required with space needed for a large catering kitchen. The car parking area must have a minimum of 70 car parking places including staff places.
Whilst hotel sites are not suitable, sites that could convert to 4 to 6 letting rooms are.
The absolute preference would be a walk in pub that could have a minimal capital investment and a short closure period.
However, as with some existing RVI sites, a significant development could be undertaken to increase the footprint of a current unit significantly.
RVI would also consider premises that would need to be converted and need change of use planning consent.
