Ribble Valley Inns is the newest part of the Northcote Group of Companies which also includes the Michelin Star Northcote and Northcote at The Rovers, hosts of the ultimate in conferencing, banqueting and corporate hospitality at Premiership football club, Blackburn Rovers.

Co-founders of the Northcote Group, Nigel Haworth and Craig Bancroft are award winners in their own right.

NIGEL HAWORTH

Nigel has an enviable international reputation for creating dishes inspired by traditional regional favourites and the produce of his local food heroes. In fact, everything that Nigel does has its roots in the North West where his obsession with promoting home grown specialities, and talent, has earned him both a Michelin Star and The Prince Philip Medal, City & Guilds’ highest accolade.

CRAIG BANCROFT

While star chefs take centre stage in the kitchen, Craig Bancroft is more likely to be found enjoying proceedings ‘front of house’. As one of Britain’s most distinguished wine authorities, Craig is responsible for creating the Northcote cellars and matching wines to individual courses and menus. Craig is a recent winner of the French Wine’s ‘Match’ Competition and the Trophée Gosset Celebris prize for the Best North West Champagne.
